Day 4
Prestatyn to Chester
We were all hoping Arthur could achieve the impossible on Centre but Sascha dispelled (...) those dreams. The battered baize of SW19 was a similar temperature to the scorched beaches and paths of Prestatyn and beyond. Miles and miles of contoured sands with nothing but a few labradors, pointers and understandable truants. The day's warmth was a similar temperature to the hospitality: particularly from the two window cleaners around lunch, thanks fellas, it makes such a difference. Few people and kids with fishing nets and footballs and seemingly no phones ... as I said yesterday, nice place North Wales. Even with a chest infection.
In figures: 100 miles done, 900 to go, 31 degrees, border crossed. How far did you walk today?
