Day Twenty Five: Newport to Tiger Bay

Update Day Twenty Five

End game

Where to start .... well 25 days ago in the North of Scotland in 31 degrees none of thought this would happen, not for a second. Halfway through in Northwich whilst on crutches we all felt the same. No I in team, this was a team, today was no different with Georgia, Phoebe, Joshua, Jules and Allan setting a frankly obscene pace. Kara, Andrew and a battered old cat just tried to get a warm off their Welsh slipstream.

1050 kms. This job is done, for a moment a breather, but nothing more. The war goes on for tigers ... and rhino, and pangolins and, in the time it took to type this, an elephant has been poached. Many have been touched by this campaign, so brilliantly organised, choreographed, cajoled, edited and bullied by Rachel, Barry, Dawn and Trevor ... but also by so many participants. Big heartfelt thank you. Video highlights to come, thanks for staying the course.
