Day Fifteen: Preston to Wigan

Wigan ... not athletic though today.

After many highs with an invigorating posse yesterday it was a grind through Lancashire for 26 on Bank Holiday Monday. However, much of this morning was through captivating river valleys and gorgeous countryside with friendly dogs and horses, inquisitive cows and even friendlier people. Damn we live in a beautiful country and so far NOT ONE person has been anything but engaged by the suit and what we are doing. 30 degrees at one point, apparently it's always like this in Chorley and Wigan ...... High point was surprising a guy by his garage who got the fright of his life as he looked up: "Fook me!" he explained "Knew I'd had too much at lunch" Priceless ... like tigers ... and other four legged creatures ... without voices.
