Day 11
Kirton to Sutton Bridge
Is there a more sparsely populated or flatter county in Britain than Lincolnshire, I think not. Today the enemy was wind, not heat and miles and miles of untrimmed trails over straight dykes (stop it...). Actually having some paths was an improvement on yesterday and the banquet put on by Graham and Sarah was both exquisite and necessary - the local cheddar on plum bread preposterous.
Had a few more in the team today, thank you. No nettles, no electric fences, just flatter than an urban Lime bike. Someone asked us today if we were out of our minds ... I'm getting tired of that, answer an emphatic NO! Game on, see you tomorrow.
275 miles completed, 725 remaining. How far did you walk today?
